From Anger to Creativity
Intention:
Transform anger into creative energy. These two imagery exercises can help the anger ignite the creative process:
Exercise 1
- Close your eyes.
- Breathe out slowly three times.
- See the anger as an uprush of flames in front of your eyes.
- Breathe out twice and enter those flames.
- See and sense a rain shower from above dousing the flames.
- As the flames disappear, know that the anger has as well.
- Breathe out and open your eyes. Use whenever you experience anger.
Exercise 2
- Close your eyes.
- Breathe out three times slowly.
- Sense and feel how anger constricts you.
- Breathe out one time slowly and begin expanding, seeing and releasing the constriction that has squeezed you.
