GEMS II: The Wisdom Keepers - Spring Semester Starts Feb 14, 2023
Using texts and discussion, the class explores imagination, intuition, love, detachment, and healing. Students will come away with a greater understanding of the western spiritual traditions to enhance their spiritual practice. This year, we will examine pendulum reading and scrying as methods of increasing intuition. Each class includes a group imagery that relates to the readings.
Readings this year include selections from:
- Dr. Epstein’s unpublished IMAGINETICS
- Valentin Tomberg's Meditations on the Tarot (The Devil, The Tower, The Star & the Moon)
- James H Hindes' Renewing Christianity: Rudolf Steiner's ideas in practice
- Valentin Tomberg's Covenant of the Heart (e.g. on 3 Temptations & the 10 commandments)
- Edward Slingerland's Trying Not to Try
- Other texts TBD.
"The body of work is so rich that it’s a vibrant journey each time I explore it."
