Imagery Exercise: For Secrets that are Gnawing at You

To Forgive Yourself
  • Sit up in a chair, hands in the arms of the chair or in your lap palms down.
  • Close your eyes and breathe out a long slow exhalation through the mouth.
  • Confess five errors in your life you have been aware of.
  • Afterward breathe out one slow long exhalation
  • Ask God or your inner source of wisdom to forgive you until you are satisfied within yourself that you have forgiven yourself. Know this to be true without doubt.
  • Breathe out once, and open your eyes.

Do this imagery exercise for several seconds to 30 seconds,  every morning and upon going to sleep for seven days.
