Messages from Invisible Reality: Watch for Your 2022 Elul Experience

Pay attention to your 2022 Elul experience starting Sunday, August 28 - Monday, Sept 26.

The month of Elul preceeds the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah. In the mystical tradition, Elul is the month that God is in the garden, or God is drawing near. The name of the month itself alludes to God's nearness and accessibility to us as the letters "Elul" form an acronym for the words in the Biblical verse Ani le-dodi ve-dodi li - "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" (Song of Songs 6:3).

During this month, we receive messages from the invisible reality about the upcoming year. Almost everyone - no matter what your persuasion - experiences some significant, striking, unusual, different, attention grabbing experience.  This experience can come as an event in waking life or as a significant dream. It shows us what is in the offing for the coming year; either the area we need to work on; some portentous message; something beneficial coming our way.  It defines, one way or another, our focus for the unfolding year.

Ten days following Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish tradition celebrates its holiest day of the year called Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement (at-one-ment). On this holy day, God is fully present and the heavenly Book of Life is opened in which each of us may be inscribed for life for the coming year. The tradition holds that we actively participate in inscribing ourselves in this book of life through our acts of kindness, charitable givings, and prayers.
